Abstract

Economic and commercial life witnessed a great development that accompanied the various sales operations and contracts, and it was necessary for legal thought to witness a development appropriate to these developments. Despite the existence of traditional legal rules, whether commercial or civil, they no longer address all modern legal issues and problems, including the issue of electronic contracts that have emerged on the scene today in light of the development of communications technology, which has led to the emergence of a special type of contracts with different parties that are compatible with technology. modern,Hence, other parties to the non-binding contract emerged, which are subject to the electronic supplier and the electronic consumer, in addition to the electronic advertiser, and this is what the new contractual environment requires, which called for the establishment of legal rules that are commensurate with this development and protect both parties to the contractual and legal relationship, either by adapting the general legal rules that would be unfair to accuse of deficiency, or legislating. New legal rules that fit the current situation. The special nature of the electronic contract requires special protection for the electronic consumer, even though the traditional legal rules provide some protection for this category. Therefore, we divided this research into two ideas, in the first of which we addressed traditional protection. Then we devoted the second idea within the second section to electronic consumer protection.
